Melinda Ross

Melinda Ross

Transportation Coordinator

After many years of volunteering at her children’s schools and with school band, she decided she needed something that got her out of the concessions stand – at least a little bit.  She began volunteering with Senior Access as a way to give back in a different way than she ever had before.

Melinda states, “I enjoy interacting with the Seniors that use our service, and getting to know them better. After a couple of years of volunteering, I had the opportunity to begin working in the office as an employee, but I am still able to volunteer as a driver a couple of times a month.“

Linda Young

Linda Young

Transportation Coordinator

Lynda began as a volunteer driver with Senior Access 3 years ago and then volunteered in the office one day a week. She now works three mornings each week in the office as a transportation coordinator.

She has always enjoyed working with senior clients, stating, “ I love to hear the stories about their lives, and I find them to be inspirational in my own life.“

When she is not working or volunteering, her other passion is quilting.   Lynda’s pleasure comes from putting together colors in all kinds of patterns. She also enjoys giving the quilts to other people.   She states that working pays for her quilting addiction, which may or may not be an accurate statement.
